Located to the west of Matalascañas is a huge and newly protected area of sand dunes called the Parque Dunar . In here, you can explore the area either on foot or by bike. You ll be surprised however to find out that amidst the casual ambience of the area, inside the park is the Museo Mundo Marino (Museum of Marine Life). This museum has interesting displays about the dunes and sea life, especially those which are prevalent to the area.
