In the town there is an old indoor market selling fruits and vegetables and an outer area with fresh fish. The modern market has ceramics, nuts & dried fruit, etc. every Tuesday morning. There are also surf shops with trendy designer surf wear located in Barrio Nuevo in Calle Batalla del Salado or on the Coast road north at N340 of the town.
